Our Story
26 Years Of Serving On The Mission Field
In 1997, God began to work in our hearts and draw us toward the mission field. After taking two preliminary trips, we moved our family to Southeast Asia, where we served the people of the Philippines for six and a half years and traveled to teach in Indonesia. During our time there, we started and oversaw 32 Bible schools as regional directors with the International School of Ministry. We also helped plant seven churches.
Our passion for empowering national pastors continued even after God changed our course and brought us to the Dominican Republic. As Field Coordinators with Missionary Ventures International, our ministry has grown, but our vision remains the same: spreading the gospel through nutrition and discipleship programs for children, developing pastors and leaders to impact their communities for Jesus, running an occupational training center where we share the love of Jesus while helping to meet physical needs, and hosting mission teams with partnering churches in the United States.
Julia continues to travel back and forth as her work allows, and her other four children are now married and starting families of their own!
We are incredibly grateful to God for allowing us to fulfill His call on our lives every day, to flow in the gifts He has placed in us, and to witness lives changed as we see God move first in us and then through us, being His hands and feet to the world. We feel truly blessed!
